Baby Birth Plaque
This is a customized plaque announcing the birth of a baby. While I typically make these out of solid surface material (Corian) they can be made out of virtually any material.
Notes
This plaque measures 9" wide by 5.5" tall and stands using a base plate that is super glued to the back side of the plaque. While you are free to pick your own colors, I typically paint the names in a fluorescent pink for girls and a blue for boys.
After the plaque is cut I "dab" the color into the vectors. Once the paint is dry, I use a vehicle window scraper to clean off the extra paint on the surface. Using 600 grit sandpaper, lightly go over the surface to clean up residual paint stains.
