Built out of solid oak. Used the CNC to do the grooves for the roll top slides and slots for sides and back.

Notes

Shapeoko 3XXL, router, table saw for slats

Slats are held together by gluing a piece of cloth to the back side to allow for flexibility - make sure they are square, maybe use a jig to hold them in place

Both long edges need to be rounded on the slats to allow for rolltop movement

I glued the everything together except the top which I drilled holes and screwed it on then put in oak buttons to cover the screws
