CNC version of the plastic project box made out of scrap wood. I have used this several times and maybe someone else will find it useful. In the examples shown I did a Vcarve on the box face but instead of wood for the inlay I 3D printed text/icons using glow in the dark PLA.

t-3 set in toolpaths for top and bottom thickness.
Box and access panel can be cut from a single stock or use thinner stock for the access panel to save time.
Screws holes for access panel designed for 3mm threaded inserts and 3mm flat head screws.
To resize - Group all, resize, ungroup, then adjust corner hole sizes for desired insert or screw size.
VCarve (text or icons) for top of box 1.5 mm depth. #122 & 1/4 30 degree vee. For 3D print inlay; export as SVG, Imported into Tinkercad, flip on horizontal, resized to the same X,Y,Z as CC design, 3D print, and then epoxy into box.
