I built my table from 3/4 MDF. After everything was glued together and dried I lightly sanded and put a couple coats of waterbased clear acrylic on it. Lightly sanded the top and applied a paste wax to make it slick. This design uses the attached STL designed to hold a 65mm trim router. I used the Carbide 3D one after I replace with a VFD. If you have another mount you might want to disable the square pocket and holes.
