Inspired by Eigenbot, this is the rocket kitchen tower but not split into seperate cuts. I cut this in one go on my shapeoko 5 pro out of a 4x4 piece of oak plywood. I V-cut the stars to cut down on sanding time. I cut them on one side, flipped the 4x4 piece along the Y axis (left to right) and then did the pockets/contours on the other side.

Cut stars on first side, and then flip the wood along the Y axis to cut out the rocket. If using a 4x4 piece of plywood, this will put the stars in the correct position on the outside of the rocket.
I set my width for the platform at 15", so you need to cut a 12x15.5" piece of wood as the pockets are .25". Cut another piece of wood at 4x15.5" for the step. In addition, I used two 2.5x15" pieces with pocket holes to give support at the top on each side, and one 2.5x15" at the bottom opposite of the step for extra support.
