I totally stole Kevin Barnett's idea for a tiling fence, but made it fancy. I added counterbored holes for 6mm bolts used with TeezNutz, as well as a scale to have a reference for when you slide the material. This is designed to fit a S5 Pro 4x4. Please check and verify all the settings work with your machine and tools.

Material is 0.375" thick, at least 49" in X, and 3" in Z. I chose this thickness so that the side clamps can still be used in the outside t-track on 1/2" thick material. I used some red oak I had sitting around, but use anything you like.
I used a 60 degree v-bit, 1/8" 2 flute endmill, and a 1/4" 3 flute endmill.
After you cut and install it, Just jog the machine with the spindle on, and the Z just skimming your wasteboard, along the Y axis to barely shave the inside edge perfectly parallel to your Y axis.
After you cut the first part of the project, make a mark on your material at a line, then slide it the amount you entered into your program.
Have you made this project?

Thanks for the share. I want to do this as well but currently, the spindle on button in CM does not work and I have the VFD. I'm struggling with making a perfectly cut fence because of this. Hopefully, they will fix it soon. Would you mind sharing your file for the waste board slats as well? Been looking for one.You must be signed in to leave a comment.
