Cut 2 sides, 1 top, and 1 stretcher, I used curly maple, planed to 1" thickness.
I used a bandsaw to cut 18 wedges, (of contrasting color) to tap into tenon slots during glue up. Perhaps overkill, I used 1/4" dowels to pin the tenons from 4 holes drilled through the sides of the top. I also drilled 1 hole up from arcs in each side.
Buy your dog dishes first to adjust holes in top if necessary. I got dishes from PetSmart "Top Paw 52 oz. medium bowls"
