I have had fun with this project and will be excited to see what else I can put at the top.
I am using 1/2" MDF and have it cut out the pieces in 2 passes. You can cut them out in one but it's noisy and not sure it's the best for the machine.
If you are going to make one with hardwood you may want to change your feeds and speeds.
This was designed using an iPhone 12 Pro, however, any phone should work.
Once the pieces are cut out simply slide one into the other.
If the smaller piece is too tight for your liking just make the width a tad wider.

I made mine with my "company" logo. I had some stained 1x6 trim board scraps and decided to mill down the rear leg so that I could leave the slot the same size.You must be signed in to leave a comment.
