Wooden Plate
For Display or as a charger or even a base to place something on Display.

Notes

I used a stool seat (1" pine circle) from my local hardware store as blank stock.

  1. First I surfaced it to bring it down to 0.5" then started with the top cut. I only have a 0.5" bottom cuter for this operation.

  2. The next operation is the Top of the plate. This cuts the center recess and leaves the top rim as is. Using a 90 degree V-Bit to taper the inner edge of the cut to give more of a plate

  3. The bottom being the last cut is the center recess then the outer rim more so for definition. Again the 90 degree V-Bit is used for both side of the little ridge.

My Wife loved it and that is all that matters right?
