Just a simple knob for tightening hex bolts on my hold down clamps to my threaded wasteboard. I find it provides sufficient force, it's compact and doesn't require a big wrench, and has a magnet inserted so it doesn't come off the head accidentally while I'm re-gripping between turns.
Have you made this project?

I would like to create some of these. but I can't seem to download the file. can you make the file so others can download?jwhendy posted 4 years ago
Hmm. So apparently not. I'm using Fusion360 free, which does not allow me to toggle for allowing downloads. That said, there are two routes: a) if you click "make this project" does it pop open in a browser and then let you open in Fusion360? Otherwise, b) I downloaded the f3d file but added the .c2d (carbide create) extension such that it's now attached. Download and delete the second extension and it should be recognized by Fusion. If you have any other suggestions, let me know. Seems to be a limitation of CutRocket?xqueenslander posted 4 years ago
Thank you! that works :)BrianBuilds posted 3 years ago
Nothing appears in Carbide after opening.jwhendy posted 3 years ago
Correct. Check the comment above. The project is *actually* done in Fusion360. The link should work, but @xqueenslander above couldn't download, as that feature was disabled in their free version. Thus, I downloaded it for him/her and went to attach... only to find that CutRocket only allows a very small set of file types (aka only c2d). So it's a Fusion360 file named as a .c2d to get around this. Sorry for the inconvenience! You must be signed in to leave a comment.
