This toy helicopter was made from plans made for a scroll saw. I converted the plans from their original pdf format to svg then used Carbide Create to layout the parts on workpieces and created the tool paths. There are three files - one for the rotor, one for the outside frame and a third for the remaining parts.

A 1/4" dowel is used to attach the main rotor blade. A 3/16" dowel is used to attach the tail rotor. You may have to enlarge the holes in the blades slightly to allow them to rotate freely.
