This is a variation on the basic round box design that uses pockets to create a sectioned compartment for the bottom of the box. These are the cut files used in part 3 of my basic boxes video series. The video covers making a pocketed design, using the node editor, magnetic catches for the box and fixing those weird pink lines SVG imports.

Hi John, I just built this project and found an issue. There are two of the pockets that are not closed polygons. (They show up pink in CC.) It's simple to correct, but I thought I should mention it. I used a hard maple and other than using a shorter cut depth everything went fine. Again, thanks for the design and the YouTube videos.You must be signed in to leave a comment.
